Göttingen basketball players extend with Mathis Mönninghoff

Göttingen (dpa / lni) – BG Göttingen can continue to rely on its record player Mathis Mönninghoff in the future. The 30-year-old has extended his contract with Lower Saxony until the summer of 2024, as the Bundesliga basketball club announced on Wednesday. There is also an option for a further year. “Mathis is a player who fulfills his role like no other and always puts the interests of the team above his own,” said BG Managing Director Frank Meinertshagen in praise of the crowd’s favourite, who has worn the Göttinger jersey 183 times so far. More often than not a professional has played for the club.
