RESULTS Free practice 1 MotoGP United States (US) 2022 is known. After going through several laps at Circuit of the America (COTA), Alex Rins (Suzuki Ecstar) came out as the fastest. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) occupies the fifth position.
MotoGP racers don’t seem to have any problems when crossing COTA. The reason is, the condition of the track already looks much better, especially corners 2,3 and 4 where there are bumps that were a problem last year.
Marc Marquez started a little slower at the start of this 2022 MotoGP free practice. Meanwhile, Aleix Espargaro, Alex Rins, and Fabio Quartararo are scrambling to be the fastest. Competition continues for up to 15 minutes.
Pol Espargaro was surprisingly off the track. The Repsol Honda racer crashed at Turn 18. He never returned to the pits.
Not long after that, The Baby Alien -Marquez’s nickname- seemed to fly! From a rather slow start, the driver from Cervera became the fastest with a time of two minutes, 4.469 seconds.
Remaining 20 minutes, Alex Rins had to get off the track. The Suzuki Ecstar racer looks to have a problem with his engine. He decided to return to the pits.
Maverick Vinales showed off his teeth before 10 minutes of dispersal. He was able to improve his time record and shift Marquez as the fastest after finishing lap two minutes 4.373 seconds.

Surprisingly, Alex Rins, who returned to the track after the engine had problems, stepped on the gas. He shifted the place of Marc Marquez in second place. On the other hand, Marquez has not been able to improve his time record because he is still in the pits.
It didn’t take long, Alex Rins immediately became the fastest! Three minutes before the end, he again accelerated his lap time with a record of two minutes 4.168. Not satisfied, he fixed it again to two minutes 4.073 seconds.
This record lasts until the 2022 US MotoGP free practice ends. With details of the top five, Alex Rins, Maverick Vinales, Jack Miller, Fabio Quartararo and Marc Marquez.
