Fos-sur-Mer and Châlons-Reims sink in Betclic Elite

Fos-sur-Mer lost heavily on Friday in its room against Nanterre (82-101) just like Châlons-Reims who could not do anything at Gravelines-Dunkerque (96-76), Friday evening, during the 27th day of Betclic Elite.

Nanterre made the difference in the second and third quarters, largely won (30-20 then 25-14). Note the fine performances of the American Jeremy Senglin (18 points) and the French Bastien Pinault (17 points), Adam Mokoka (13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists) and Bodian Massa (11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists) .

Gravelines-Dunkerque and Châlons-Reims scored almost as many points in the first, second and fourth quarters. But not in the third, clearly dominated by the Northerners (29-12). If Rémois Gani Lawal (23 points, 6 rebounds) was the game’s top scorer, Gravelines-Dunkerque players John Jenkins (20 points) and Tyler Stone (18 points) performed well. The two losers occupy the last two places in the standings.

Roanne returns to Paris

For his part, Roanne, carried by JaKeenan Gant (19 points, 5 rebounds) and Loren Jackson (19 points, 6 assists) won at home (99-92) against Paris, despite Boatright’s 25 points and the 23 points and 9 rebounds from Sleva. Both teams have the same record (11 wins, 16 losses).
