Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the much-discussed Ajax duo Noussair Mazraoui-Ryan Gravenberch. The pair are well on their way to Bayern Munich, although the last financial folds have yet to be ironed out, especially in the case of Gravenberch.
BILD released the financial details of the double deal before the weekend: 28 million euros plus bonuses for Gravenberch, who could earn nine million euros a year at Bayern, while Mazraoui would be on the payroll for eight million. However, this news was refuted by De Telegraaf and the Gravenberch camp.
According to Romano, the midfielder is indeed on his way to Munich together with teammate Mazraoui – who will run out of his contract after this season – but only the transfer fee still has to be negotiated. †We are in the final stages† It’s not over yet, but we’re approaching the final negotiations,” Romano said in a statement Here We Go Podcast† “The proposal for Gravenberch is seventeen million euros guaranteed plus ten million euros in bonuses, Ajax wants a slightly higher guaranteed amount. We will see what the coming days bring, but Gravenberch and Mazraoui are very close to Bayern.”
