The European Badminton Championship of the Santermano athlete Fabio Caponio in Madrid opens with a victory, taking place from 25 to 30 April.
In fact, the blue overtook the Scottish Callum Smith in two sets (with a score of 21-15 and 21-3) in the thirty-second finals.
«At the beginning I was a bit tense and the first set was centered above all on the study of the opponent – the words of Caponio – I must say that when I started to put pressure on him things went much better and for this I am satisfied. Continuing on this path is important: I can only do better and find the right balance that will lead me towards excellence. Tomorrow I expect a good match, the Swede Felix Burestedt took part in the Tokyo Games. It will be a very interesting challenge ».
