Defeat Fajar/Rian, Pram/Yere Jump to Final

Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan qualified for the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships final. They won the ‘civil war’ against Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

Pram/Yere won in a three-game duel in the semifinals of BAC 2022. In the match at Muntinlupa Sports Complex, Manila, Saturday (30/4/2022) afternoon WIB, Pram/Yere won 22-20, 13-21, 21-18 over Fajar / Rian.

Fajar/Rian continued to lead the scoring since the beginning of the first game. They took an 11-7 lead over Pram/Yere at the interval.

Fajar/Rian had time to reach game points first at 20-18. However, Pram/Yere took a corner by winning four consecutive points to secure the first game.

Pram/Yere had taken the lead early in the second game. However, after a draw at 5-5, Fajar / Rian took the lead.

The two pairs played fast games. Fajar/Rian won a long rally after Pram’s return did not cross the net. Fajar/Rian lead 16-9.

Fajar/Rian finally forced the rubber game after winning the second game. They won 21-13 over Pram/Yere.

Pram/Yere had fallen behind 3-6 in the third game. They won five consecutive points to take the lead and close the interval with an 11-8 advantage over Fajar/Rian.

The competition runs tight after the interval. Fajar/Rian and Pram/Yere chased until the draw was 14-14.

After that, Pram / Yere away 18-14. They ended up winning 21-18 after Fajar’s return came out.

Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia EYY Rambitan will next face Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik in the final of the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships. Aaron/Soh qualified for the final after winning over their compatriots, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzudin, 21-11, 21-19.
