Criticism of Queiroz for alleged lawsuit against the Egyptian Federation after throwing him out

Carlos Queiroz is living his ‘tusa’ after being eliminated with Egypt, in his ambition to go to the Qatar World Cup in 2022. The penalties were cruel to him and his team, losing to Senegal and missing the opportunity that he had also lost to Colombia.

After the failure, Queiroz was kicked out by the Egyptian Football Federation. The contract between the Portuguese and the Pharaohs expired unilaterally, not believing that the DT is the right one to start a new process. However, from Cairo they assure that the Mister did not like it at all and responded with a demand to the federation.

Why is Queiroz suing the Egyptian Federation?

According to journalists, the demand is because the contract between Queiroz and Egypt was going until the end of this year. In the federation they believe that when the link was eliminated, it was automatically terminated. Of course, the press criticized this supposed attitude. Given this, the DT used their social networks to respond and deny.

“After the recent news and comments, I categorically deny any speculation that indicates requirements or demands on my part, related to personnel or any other matter surrounding the Selection. In fact, as agreed with the EFA, until the result of the protest filed with FIFA is known, regarding the playoff match with Senegal, there is no room for any type of discussion or decision. I am really sorry for all the fake news and comments using my name and all the toxic effect for the fans of the National Team and the public opinion. Thanks for your support”assured the Mister.

He also took the opportunity to send a message to the fans and express all his love for Egypt. “We tried our best, but today was not enough. From the bottom of my heart my thanks to the Egyptian Federation for this honor of coaching the National Team.”he added.
