Each sport has its controversial or controversial players, and in tennis several of them stand out. Frenchman Benoit Paire is on that list and game after game he leaves behind a string of bad gestures, clashes with judges and the public and, on occasions, low effort capacity. But yesterday, after reaping a new defeat, several anonymous people sent him death threats on Twitter, a situation that the tennis player himself took it upon himself to denounce on his personal account.

«My mother, how can you not win this here. You are dead. Scumbag bitch. Consider yourself dead. We are going to kill you son of a bitch”, were some of the messages that Paire received from a user after losing his first round match in the Estoril tournament against the South Korean Kwon Soon-woo. The Frenchman was defeated in two sets, which caused a good handful of users, with a clear relationship with the world of sports betting, to send him death threats by direct message to his Twitter account.

Bad shapes and insults

Paire reaped a new defeat yesterday in the ATP circuit. This year he has only three wins and twelve losses and in several tournaments he has faced the public, who has booed him for his poor performance and for seeming somewhat indolent during the matches.

This same Monday in the match against Kwon in Estoril he faced the public several times and even at the end of the match he said goodbye by lowering his pants as he left the track.
