Clermont-PSG: eight confirmed absences, the MNM and young Simons and Michut are there

As expected on Friday, PSG travels to Clermont with a group amputated by eight major players. Julian Draxler (meniscus), Angel Di Maria (reathletization), Leandro Paredes (pubalgia), Ander Herrera (recovery), Keylor Navas (adductors), Abdou Diallo (adductors), Layvin Kurzawa (low back pain, calves) and Marquinhos (rest) remain in the capital this weekend.

To compensate for these absences, Mauricio Pochettino therefore calls on several “young people”, including hopefuls Xavi Simons and Edouard Michut in midfield. Defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu is also present. They accompany the stars Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Lionel Messi who will want to continue their momentum of the great success against Lorient (5-1) last Sunday during which they all scored.

But young people should not shake up the hierarchy in a team in search of its 10th hexagonal title. Leader with 12 points ahead of OM eight days from the end, PSG can take an additional step in the event of victory at Clermont, 17th in the championship, in the fight to maintain it.

The probable eleven: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Ramos, Kimpembe (chap.), Mendes – Gueye, Danilo, Verratti – Messi, Mbappé, Neymar.
