Buenos Aires Games 2022: until when is registration open, who can participate and what are the disciplines

Until April 30, registrations are open to Buenos Aires Games 2022which have 31 editions.

After an edition that was crossed by virtuality, this year the face-to-face is once again part of this day that mixes sport and culture in young.

In this new edition, people who want to participate will be divided into the following categories:

Youth (13 to 18 years old).

People with disabilities, older adults (over 60 years).

University students (18 to 59 years old).

transplanted people.

The call will include the possibility of compete in the following sports: Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Judo, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Handball, Padel, Motor Racing, Hockey, Athletics, Beach Volleyball, Swimming, Skate, Artistic Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Endurance, Wrestling, Canoeing.

In addition, for the first time it will be possible to compete for rugby 7 (seven) and beach soccer for the women’s branch. Regarding the cultural area, this year’s program will incorporate sections: Ensemble of Cumbia, Rock, Theater and Chefs from Buenos Aires

Likewise, with an eye toward promoting the technological innovationthe 2022 Buenos Aires Games will return the robotics Triathlon program and electronic sports will be included.

For the People with disabilities there will be a record in the number of disciplines in the Buenos Aires Games. Total there will be 12 sports disciplines: Athletics, Para-Badminton, Wheelchair Basketball, Boccia, Endurance -Bonaerenses en Carrera-, Soccer for People with Down Syndrome, Soccer for People with Intellectual Disabilities, Soccer for People with Cerebral Palsy, Goalball, Swimming, Tennis Table, Sitting Volleyball.

In addition, they will have a total of 8 cultural disciplines: Folkloric Dance, Dance Theater, Drawing, Photography, Malambo, Scenic Oral Narration, Painting and Vocal Soloist.

For the Older adultsalso on his return to the full attendance and the following sports: Bocce, Burako, Walk, Pop Choreography, Chin-Chon, Ladies, Escoba de 15, Newcom, Orienteering, Fishing, Pentathlon, Toad, Taba, Shuffleboard and Truco. They can also enroll in: Drawing, Painting, Three-Dimensional Object, Bonaerense Cooks, Folkloric Dance, Tango Dance, Photography, Poetry, Story, Vocal Soloist and Theater.

Lastly, with free categorythe people of Buenos Aires will also be able to participate in four electronic sports: FIFA, League of Legends, Clash Royale and Free Fire.
