Brothers Kārlis and Jānis Reišuļi climb to the podium in the section of EČ Ķegums – Motor sports – Car – TVNET

Yesterday in the first race of the EMX125 class, the brothers Jānis and Kārlis Reišuļi celebrated a double victory, but the third place was won by the Dutchman Kass Valks.

At the beginning of the second race, Jānis was higher than the Reišuļi brothers, but Kārlis entered the finish line faster, winning the 3rd place. Jānis reached the finish as the fifth. Valks won this race, becoming the winner of the Ķegums stage in the sum of two races.

Kārlis Albert Reišulis won silver on the Ķegums track, but this time Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis won a bronze medal around his neck.

After completing the three stages of the European Championship, Kārlis is in the third position in the overall standings, while Jānis is in the fourth place. Kass Valks has taken the lead, but for the time being the vice-leader of the season is the Frenchman Alexis Fuerī, for whom the Ķegums stage was quite unsuccessful – withdrawing in the first race and 7th in the second race.

In the Ķegums stage, in the sum of two races, 17th place went to Tomas Šaicāns, Uldis Freibergs won 19th place (in the 1st race he was in the 15th place, but in the 2nd race he left), Roberts Lūsis remained in the 26th place, and Markuss Kokins after the yesterday place in the 24th place today. was in position 32.

The winner of the Ķegums stage in the sum of two races in the EMXOpen class was the Spanish athlete José Butron, who overtook the Finnish Jeri Hāvisto, who started in the Latvian championship. Giuseppe Tropepe from Italy was third. Rauls Blumfelds, the only Latvian in this class, won 26th place (27th place in the 1st race, 24th place in the second race).
