Belgrano prevailed in his visit to the Miter Association


The patriot took advantage of the advantage obtained in the opening quarter to win 76-73. In Mitre, Aragón was the top scorer with 30 points, followed by Acosta in Belgrano with 20.

From the first minute, Belgrano set the pace of the game, dominating through defensive intensity and the scoring contribution of Matías Acosta (20) and Nicolás Kalalo (13), to forge an initial 7-0 run, which lasted 15-6 midway through the quarter. Lucas Aragón (30) was the main headache for the visitor, who found in the triples of Juan Pablo Vigiani (15) the weapon to double his rival in the score 28-14.

In the second set, Lucas Vega proposed a high pressure to force errors in the start of the patriot. The zonal defense in the green basket was surpassed by Belgrano, getting shots on foot from the corners. At this point in the game, Aragón in Miter and Vigiani in Belgrano were already the main scoring cards with 17 and 15 points respectively. At the long break the visit went up 46-35.

The third quarter turned blow for blow, with both teams demanding their rival with their tough defenses. In Belgrano, Sebastián Osores (17) began to rise and managed to close the quarter up 66-58.

Miter found his best version in the last period. He recovered balls in all sectors of the court and strengthened Aragón’s scoring arsenal, with scoring passages by Daniel Pomares (13), Luis Argañaraz (12) and Leonel Luna (7). Belgrano leaned on Acosta and Osores to face the onslaught of the local. In the last two possessions Aragón had the opportunity to turn the tide of the night, but the ball did not enter and the victory was on the side of the patriot by 76-73.

Miter will face Jujuy Basket the other Sunday as a visitor, while Belgrano will be free on matchday 13.
