Becon-les-Granits. The judo club continues to live in the city

Judo continues in Bécon-les-Granits, thanks to the work done by the former president of Ken’Go judo, Virginie Barbin, and her office. After a request from Yolande Dubé, president of the departmental committee 49, with a view to continuing to bring judo to life in Bécon, in memory of Jean-René Trumeau, judo teacher who died on April 12, 2018, the members of the Pouancéen judo club have responded favorably, so that judo, school of life, is always present in the commune.

“The recovery of the club was simple at federal level, with an A dojo in Pouancé and a B dojo in Bécon, explains Fabienne Aulnette, the president, who came to pay a little visit. Around forty judokas from the surrounding towns practice this martial art, at the Béconnais dojo. »

Marie Guémas, 24, from Segré, trainee judo teacher, teaches at Pouancé and Bécon.

Last Thursday, in Bécon, the club organized a friendly day of judo entertainment and sports games, for licensed children. Marie took advantage of a reduced group, about ten children, to approach the judo culture (moral code), the young judokas representing themselves with the help of a white silhouette.
