Aluzas Nakken (31 years old), entered the Giants’ first base box after the third baseman charged Antoan Richardson. When Nakken was announced, the ovation from the fans present at Oracle Park was immediate. The Giants won 13-2.
Who is Alyssa Nakken?
Nakken is not improvised. The woman who since 2020 works with the Giants first team, she played softball during middle school, high school and in college she did it for the Sacramento Hornets as a first baseman. In 2014 she arrived with the Giants to work in the social area until she moved up and started working as part of the coaching staff. During some Giants exhibition games, Nakken was the first base coach.
