Do you want to experience an unforgettable summer camp with YMCA Meijendel? Then come with us to ‘Het Boshuis’ next summer from 17 to 23 July. A beautiful location in the middle of the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. All children aged 8 to 14 are welcome.
Activities
All kinds of challenging, creative and sporting activities are planned during the week. On our own terrain we have a large Air trampoline, where you can show all your jumping skills. There is also a mega swing where you can chill out with all your friends! Do you prefer games? Then join a game of table football, badminton or volleyball!
There is also a lot to do outside the site. For example, we go swimming in a great swimming pool with a covered slide and an outdoor pool. We also make use of the wooded area, of course. What are we going to do here? Think ‘Living Stratego’, laser tag and much more! Every evening there is a delicious meal on the table and we end the day with a cozy campfire or evening game.
Organization and safety
The camp is organized by the old camp team of YMCA Wassenaar. This team has set up a new summer camp under the name “YMCA Meijendel”. This is part of YMCA Netherlands, a national non-profit organization that is committed to recreation and leisure for young people. The leadership of YMCA Meijendel has many years of experience in organizing camps. Every year we want as many children as possible to experience a fun summer camp, where the safety of your child(ren) comes first. For example, all management has a valid VOG and the majority have a first aid and/or emergency response certificate. We are looking forward to this wonderful week and would like to welcome you to our camp!
