Independiente Medellín vs. Rionegro Águilas: summary, goals, match report, standings today | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Deportivo Independiente Medellín thrashed Águilas Doradas 4-0, on the ninth date for the I-2022 League. The Antioquian team provided spectacle and goals to their fans, with a strong team. The powerful goals were from Felipe Pardo, Jean Pineda, Adrián Arregui and Luciano Pons. For Leonel, a streak of two consecutive wins was cut short.

At minute 32 and after a collective play that started from the right sector, Jean Pineda from the left sector and with his right leg, increased the advantage on the scoreboard for Independiente Medellín.

At the end of the first half, a foul on Juan David Mosquera that the referee did not sanction, led to the VAR check. Two minutes after the time served, Diego Escalante did not penalize the infraction.

In the complementary stage, Medellín came out to settle the match. Águilas could not associate and simply dedicated himself to enduring the onslaught of the premises.

At minute 15, Adrián Arregui from medium distance was close to the third, but the ball passed very close to the horizontal. About minute 23 and after a free kick, Adrián Arregui with a cross shot scored the third for the powerful, showing the comfort in a game that the DIM gave him.

On the next date, Independiente Medellín will face Atlético Nacional in the Antioquia classic. While Águilas Doradas receives Envigado in Rionegro.
