‘I have been doing something strange for years, so that PEC has more work to do on the contract extension’

Bram van Polen always tries to include something special in his contract when he has to sign a new contract with PEC Zwolle. The defender is now in negotiations with the Bluefingers again, but expects both parties to come to an agreement.

Van Polen states that a new contract with PEC is on the way. “They still have to put it down on paper,” he reports to Voetbal Talk on ESPN. “It is the intention, but the zeros still have to be set up and especially the preconditions. Season tickets and such, but I always try to do something special.”

According to the defender, PEC must make a little effort to conclude a new contract. “I have been doing something strange for years, so that they have a little more work on it. I wanted to eat at star restaurant Librije once, so I arranged it for twelve people. We could eat there, my family plus supporters, and spend the night. PEC It drove me crazy, but no, I liked that better.”

This time a car still has to be arranged for Van Polen, who will then sign his new contract. That would mean that the now 36-year-old defender will start his sixteenth season in Zwolle.
