Former Oviedo player Adrián López finds a team

Striker Adrián López, a former Oviedo player, who was without a team, is a new Málaga player for the remainder of the season and will be available for tomorrow’s match against Girona, the Málaga club reported on Thursday.

The 34-year-old Asturian footballer already played for Málaga in the 2008-2009 campaign and has been training with the Málaga team for several weeks in a period of physical rehabilitation and tuning due to a muscle injury.

Adrián López trained in the lower categories of Oviedo and in the 2006-2007 season he signed with Deportivo, who loaned him out to various teams such as Alavés and Málaga before returning to La Coruña for two seasons and signing for Atlético de Madrid .

With the colchoneros, he won the League, Copa del Rey, Europa League and European Super Cup, as well as being runner-up in the Champions League in the 2013-2014 campaign.

After three successful seasons at the rojiblanco club, he played for Porto between 2014 and 1019 and won the Portuguese Super Cup in 2018, and later went to Villarreal and Osasuna, playing 314 games in the First Division and scoring 44 goals.
