Campo de Criptana expands and strengthens agreements with 21 sports clubs

The Campo de Criptana City Council has signed agreements with 21 sports clubs, for a total value of 101,000 euros.

One more year, the Government team renewed, with a simple act held in the Plenary Hall of the town hall, its agreements with the local sports clubs, to which, in 2022, those of paddle tennis, tennis and judo will be added.

A total of 21 clubs for which a total amount of 101,000 euros has been allocated, with which financial support is provided, among other things, for the performance of their work through sports schools.

The mayor of Campo de Criptana, Santiago Lázaro, thanked the work they do, especially in sports training and values ​​for boys and girls.

In addition to these agreements, throughout this year the sports facilities will continue to be improved, as was done with the summer pool. In the coming weeks, the mayor announced, work will begin on the new multi-sports area, next to the heated pool. “It will be a new space that will be used by the clubs to develop different training activities or talks.”

Another of the lines of support for local sport, a novelty contemplated in the Municipal Budgets of 2022, will be aid to athletes who participate in national championships or other competitions of special relevance. For this purpose, a total item of 10,000 euros has been foreseen.

“I think it is important to help our athletes, promote them so they can compete, just as they are carrying the name of Campo de Criptana wherever they go,” said the mayor.
