The Cleveland Browns have acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys.
This is what the NFL Network learned on Saturday.
In return, the Texan formation obtained a fifth-round pick in the next NFL Draft. The two clubs also traded their sixth round selection for this same auction.
The transaction should be confirmed next Wednesday, during the official opening of the 2022 season at the Goodell circuit.
Cooper had 68 catches for 865 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games last season. It appears the Cowboys made this trade to free up space on their payroll. The 27-year-old receiver will have a $20 million impact on his training budget over the next three seasons.
