Baseball – Late Season Start – Sports

Major League Baseball’s season will not start on the scheduled March 31 date after collective bargaining collapsed. That said MLB boss Rob Manfred on Tuesday (local time) in Florida, where the representatives of the best baseball league in the world and the players have been negotiating for hours over the past few days. At least the first two matchdays of the season are affected. It is the first time in 27 years that the season cannot start on the scheduled date due to disputes between the two parties, US media reported. The dispute involves, among other things, the payment of players and the number of teams in the playoffs.
