Barça thrash Real Madrid (5-2) and break attendance record in women’s football

Barcelona qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday, after beating Real Madrid (5-2) in the return match of the quarter-finals played at the Camp Nou, and making good the 1- 3 achieved in the first leg.

Mapi León (min.8), Aitana Bonmatí (min.52), Claudia Pina (min.55), Alexia Putellas (min.62) and Graham Hansen (min.70) have scored for Barça, while Olga Carmona , from the penalty spot (min.16), and Claudia Zornoza (min.48) scored the points for the white team.

The match attracted 91,553 spectators at the Camp Nou, a world record for attendance at a women’s football match.
