The athletes from Girona have stepped up to the Spanish Indoor Track Championship. Adel Mechaal has won the double crown after being proclaimed Spanish Indoor Track Champion in 1,500 meters, beating the championship record with a time of 3: 36.89. The palamosí had already won the title yesterday with a time of 8: 03.73. Esther Guerrero, on the other hand, took third place in the 1,500m, despite an injury to the last straight, a puncture in the hamstring, which prevented her from revalidating the title. Naiara Estanga from Cornell also won the bronze medal in the triple jump, thanks to a jump of 13.20.
