Coexistence morning away from the Pisuerga sports center for the Real Valadolid Baloncesto squad, who have disconnected for a few moments from the bad situation they are going through in the LEB Oro League to hang out and learn about how the first football team works, as well as their facilities in Zorrilla.

In the company of David Espinar, director of the presidential office, and Jorge Santiago, director of the corporate area, the players have visited the different areas of the stadium with special attention to the locker room area, the gym and the pitch itself, where they have posed to the typical family photo. The UEMC expedition, led by its president, Alejandro García Pellitero, and by its general director, Saúl Hernández, has been supported at all times by the club’s top leaders, in addition to Pacheta, who has had a friendly chat for several minutes with all of them including Roberto Gonzalez. With a long history on the bench, the coach from Burgos has experienced all kinds of situations and is no stranger to the problems that the city’s basketball team is going through. Precisely last Wednesday he witnessed at the foot of the track the defeat against Leyma Coruña in the company of Ronaldo Nazário, David Espinar, Fenaert, Jorge Santiago and the first team player Monchu.

Pacheta’s positive and optimistic spirit is well known, as well as his way of understanding the locker room as a family, so that what the coach has transferred to the basketball players has focused on strengthening the relationship and getting to know the one next door to grow as a team.

The CEO of the Blanquivioleta club, Matthieu Fenaert, also joined the visit, encouraging all of them to “feel proud of the Real Valladolid family and to be ambitious in their goals.” The basketball team has a serious downturn in its game that has led it to chain three consecutive defeats and flirt with the positions in the lower part of the classification.
