On Monday February 21, judokas from the judo club of Merlevenez/Sainte-Hélène and the dojo of the country of Lorient went to Château-Gontier, in Mayenne, to follow a regional course in the presence of international athletes including female delegations from Argentina and Cameroon. Among them, Vanessa Mballa, African champion and qualified for the Olympic Games. In the morning, the trainees followed an introduction to new judo techniques (combat and blocking the opponent on the ground). In the afternoon, an introduction to standing combat and the scoring technique was on the menu. In the evening, a taiso class was given. Christophe Bedouet, president of the club, and Yvan Baranger, teacher, were also present.
