The race of Johan Arango I return to where it began, to Colombian professional football, after unsuccessful attempts abroad.
The newspaper El Meridiano confirmed in the last few hours that the attacker is already a Jaguares de Córdoba playera rumor that has circulated insistently but has finally been confirmed.
“This is how Jaguares welcomes Valle del Cauca winger Johan Arango, a new recruit for the feline team for competitions in 2022,” says the source.
Arango is the owner of a great mid-distance shot, a virtue that he showed from the beginning of his career in América de Cali and that he always tried to explain in the rest of his career.
In the first division he was with América, Once Caldas, Independiente Medellín, Pasto and Santa Fe, the latter two in two different seasons. Abroad he played for Al Batin FC in Saudi Arabia in 2018 and Deportivo Binacional in Peru, from 2020 to this point.
Interestingly, an important part of that journey has been in the second division: there he was with América, Atlético, Universitario de Popayán and Universidad del Caribe in Colombia and with Juárez and Correcaminos UAT in Mexico.
In his record there is a champion title in B in 2013 with Universidad del Caribe (Uniautónoma), Medellín in 2016 and the Superliga with Santa Fe, in 2017.
This is a free agent who signed his contract after a season in Peru of 23 games, five goals and nine assists. Only the official announcement of the club is awaited.
