On the night of this Monday, the El Ceibo team began its preseason for the start of the Federal Basketball Tournament that will begin on January 28.
The team from our city is already focused on what will be its presentation in the third category of Argentine basketball for the first time. He had the first training session in charge of Eduardo Blengini and with only four new faces.
From this Monday the “national flower” will have 18 days to get ready from the physical and the basketball, thinking about what will be the first game of the Federal Tournament. It is worth mentioning that El Ceibo still does not know its first rival since the fixture has not been drawn.
Among the players present at the first practice of the year were those who affirmed their continuity such as Agustín Lozano, Martín Sauco, Tomás Silveira, Lautaro Florito, Aaron Bono and Tomás Paschietto. In addition, the new Gustavo Calorio, Gastón Quiroga, Juan Garetto were added (he is recovering from a shoulder operation). The youths Benjamín Almada, Juan Rosas, Thiago Tomatis and Pablo Grosso, a youth test from Rafaela, also trained.
Horacio Rigada was not in training due to an upset stomach and therefore it was decided that he should be absent this Monday.
El Ceibo already knows its group rivals, which will be July 9th of Morteros, July 9th of Río Tercero, Sportivo Las Parejas, Santa Paula de Gálvez, Sportivo Suardi and Sport de Cañada de Gómez. In these days the fixture will be known.
