(WOMEN’S BASKETBALL) Innova-tsn notifies three new positives and their game against Lointek Gernika is postponed this Wednesday

Innova-tsn Leganés has notified this Tuesday three new positive cases of Covid in the squad after the tests carried out for the commitment scheduled for this Wednesday against Lointek Gipuzkoa, which was postponed at the time and cannot be played on this occasion either, since that with these new infections the number of positives from the outbreak that began last week is increased to six and that it also made it possible to postpone last weekend’s commitment against Baxi Ferrol.

The great unknown today is to know what will happen in the face of the important duel scheduled for this Sunday against Ensino Lugo, since it will depend on the evolution of the cases. The cucumber team hasn’t been able to exercise for a week and having to play this match would be a huge setback considering the evident lack of preparation.

Innova-tsn Leganés currently has three postponed matches against Estudiantes, Lointek Gernika and Baxi Ferrol, although the first of them has already been rescheduled for next Wednesday the 26th.

ALIMA DEMBELÉ STRENGTHENS THE INTERIOR GAME

On the other hand, the Leganense club has signed Alima Dembelé for the remainder of the season and one more. It is a reinforcement with a view to the future since the Malian pivot, 21 years old and 1.86 tall, has a huge margin of progression.

Despite her youth, she already has extensive experience in the Women’s League 2, having previously played for Magec Tías, Barakaldo and Vega Lagunera Adareva.
