The NBA punishes the assistant of the Nets David Vanterpool and the franchise for the “stolen” caused by the same coach in the final match between the Wizards and Brooklyn, then won by the latter.
There were about 5 minutes to go and Brooklyn was 6 points ahead, then Washington returned losing only by one. So the “stolen” was not decisive for the victory, but the Wizards were hoping to have something more in favor than a simple fine to the opponents.
