Three players who went through Junior signed with Bucaramanga

The bag of soccer players continues to be agitated. Not only because of the bombastic arrival of Giovanni Moreno to Atlético Nacional or the resounding arrival of Andrés Ibargüen to Deportes Tolima. Also in the other teams many signings are being presented.

Atlético Bucaramanga, for example, has confirmed a good number of new faces. Among those there are three players who passed through Junior, the central defender Jefferson Gómez, the multifunctional Francisco ‘Petico’ Rodríguez and the midfielder Iván Rivas.

Of the three former sharks, Gómez is the only one who has just left the rojiblancas awnings.

The 25-year-old currambero defender arrived at the shark team in the second half of 2017, preceded by very good performances at Envigado, the club where he made his professional debut.

The Barranquilla began stomping with the rojiblanca and quickly earned a place in the starter until a serious knee injury got in his way.

After a long recovery, he again recovered his level and began to be part of the stellar eleventh with an outstanding performance. However, the injuries appeared again at their destination.

In the midst of his permanent presence in the medical department, Gómez was losing his level of play, his ambition and his waste of desire.

That is why he ended up leaving Junior at the end of 2021. Now at Atlético Bucaramanga he will seek to relaunch his career and resume the great performance that he showed in Envigado and in his first seasons with the ‘Sharks’.
