They assure that Del Potro is bankrupt due to a millionaire debt of his father

After an endless inactivity, motivated by his injuries, the expected return to the courts of Juan Martín Del Potro is getting closer and closer. But while training at Club Uncas and under the gaze of coach Marcelo Gómez, shocking news emerged: his father Horacio -who administered his money and died a year ago- squandered all the money in La Torre’s account, which lost approximately 30 million dollars and went bankrupt.

According to a special report by América TV, his father – who was a veterinarian – was in charge of the tennis player’s contracts. With the money at his disposal, he squandered it on investments that did not prosper. Renting fields to grow soybeans, the purchase of houses and problems with gambling were the main triggers of the financial debacle.

“When his father died, the debtors came to knock on the door because his father did not know how to handle the business,” they affirmed, adding: “He had the biggest debt with a cereal factory and he is paying it.”

With this scenario, Del Potro would have been left with just $ 3 million at his disposal (10 percent of his fortune) and many accounts to pay. Will he be able to recover and pay the millionaire debts that were left in his name?
