The typical L1 team – 22nd day – Football

Triple scorer against Strasbourg, Bordeaux’s Hwang Ui-jo is elected player of the day. The Marseillais Rongier, Saliba and Guendouzi and the Parisians Ramos and Verratti, also distinguished themselves this weekend and appear in the 22nd edition of the typical Maxifoot team.

Hwang scored a hat-trick with Bordeaux.

As in past seasons, after each day of the championship, Maxifoot composes its standard team. The best “eleven” and seven substitutes are chosen according to their performance. Holders get three points, substitutes get one point.

Substitutes:

12. Ouparine Djoco (Clermont)
13. Dante (Nice)
14. Mamadou Sakho (Montpellier)
15. Aurlien Tchouamni (Monaco)
16. Thomas Mangani (Angers)
17. Rmi Oudin (Bordeaux)
18. Kevin Gameiro (Strasbourg)

And details:

Player of the Day: Hwang Ui-jo (Bordeaux)

If Vladimir Petkovic is still the coach of Bordeaux, it is thanks to his South Korean striker. So clumsy against Marseille, the Bordeaux striker was monstrous against Strasbourg by sticking a hat-trick, including a magnificent curled strike for the 3-0. An XXL performance for him!

Marco Bizot (Brest)

The Brest goalkeeper was standard against Lille. Author of five saves, including a superb save against Ben Arfa, the Dutch goalkeeper was the great architect of his team’s success against the French champion. Clearly his best performance since arriving in Brittany.

Valentin Rongier (Marseille)

Sacred match for the Marseille midfielder… Placed on the right, the former Nantes player was very serious in his withdrawal to prevent Frankowski’s climbs. He provided support offensively, notably hitting the bar with a heavy left-footed strike. A nice copy for him.

William Saliba (Marseille)

Author of an exceptional tackle in front of Fofana at the start of the match, the Marseille central defender was impressive in the duels. Very serene, he managed the depth well despite the high position of the Marseille block. The only bad news is that he will leave OM at the end of the season. Really a shame given his extraordinary level since his arrival…

Sergio Ramos (Paris SG)

For his first tenure at the Park, the Spanish central defender had a client opposite with Ekitike. He quickly imposed respect on the young Rmois before showing him how to behave in front of goal by scoring for the first time with PSG, in two stages, from a corner. A realization that will do him a lot of good.

Arnaud Souquet (Montpellier)

Thanks to the space left by Diop and Caio Henrique, the right-back enjoyed himself in the first period! One of his many climbs brings Wahi’s goal. He thought he might have scored himself in the second period, but Nbel’s relaxation prevented him after a good play.

Matto Guendouzi (Marseille)

Monstrous! The Marseille midfielder was everywhere on the pitch: right, left, in a more rearward, higher position… The player on loan from Arsenal was in the oven and in the mill, never hiding to corner the Lensois. It is also he who gets the penalty on a climb in the axis. Even if he was a step below when returning from the locker room, despite a big save at the far post, it is still he who is there to slip a perfect decisive pass for Bakambu on the second goal. A very good copy, one more, for him.

Andrei Girotto (Nantes)

The Brazilian midfielder is starting to do damage from free kicks! He once again made the powder speak in this exercise by breaking the Lorient lock. A serious match once again to allow the Canaries to get seriously closer to maintaining.

Marco Verratti (Paris SG)

An excellent match for the Italian midfielder. Always in the sense of the game, he was much more offensive and daring than usual. Author of the opener on an unscrewed shot, he is the origin of the third goal with a shot deflected by Gravillon and Faes. Like what, he can also take responsibility for the goal!

Stphy Mavididi (Montpellier)

It’s simple, the Montpellier striker is involved in all three of his team’s goals. He is first the author of the strike against which benefits Wahi. Then offers a nice double, including this powerful strike in added time which gives victory to the MHSC! The Englishman, very restless in the first period, had nevertheless dropped in intensity on returning from the locker room.

Amine Gouiri (Nice)

Highly visible, the Niois striker missed many opportunities in the first period, falling twice on Caillard. He was decisive, however, by bringing Thuram’s goal with a fine pass and then doubling the lead from the penalty spot, a few minutes after a goal was disallowed for offside. In all the right moves!
