“Persija is a big team. Of course I am very grateful to be able to join the pride of the capital,” said Irfan, quoted from the club’s official website.

Before joining Persija, Irfan had helped Persis Solo promotion to League 1 next season.

Together with Persis Solo, Shin Tae-yong’s protege won the 2021 Liga 2 title.

Now Irfan is starting to shift his focus to Persija.

The 20-year-old player is determined to help the Kemayoran Tiger team rise in the second round of Liga 1 2021-2022.

“I will try my team’s energy to be able to help Persija improve their ranking in the standings,” he said.

“I know the Persija fans are very big.”

“I will try to fulfill their wishes,” he concluded.
