Taiwan Martian Sports Association Helps Families Continue Their Baseball Dream | Baseball Training Camp | Epoch Times

[Epoch Times, January 28, 2022](Reported by Epoch Times reporter Chen Xiuyuan in Keelung, Taiwan) The Martian Movement Development Association of Taiwan held a scholarship donation ceremony at Xinyi Middle School in Keelung City on January 27. Geng Boxuan attended and donated scholarships to Hua Ying’an from Xinyi Middle School, so that Hua Ying’an could continue to play baseball.

The origin of this donation ceremony can be traced back to the Martians in Taiwan on August 27 last year when they held a public welfare baseball training camp for the Keelung Jiafu Community Baseball Team. The classmates performed well in training, but later I was surprised that he did not choose to continue to train in the high school team, which was a pity.

It was later learned that the filial student Hua, who had to take into account the living expenses of his parents still had to support three younger siblings and others, chose to study in a municipal higher vocational school nearby to reduce the burden on his family, so he had to give up the invitation to the high school team.

The Martian Sports Association of Taiwan and the social workers of the Keelung Family Support Center discussed many times. After confirming the willingness of student Hua to pursue his baseball dream, they launched a fundraising project for scholarships and bursaries. In addition, Chen Qisheng, chairman of the Guoguang Passenger Transport Company, who is enthusiastic about public welfare, did his part to provide student Hua. 30-month round-trip transportation from Keelung to Changhua until graduation from high school.

For the required ball equipment, Taiwan Martian also joined hands with a world-renowned baseball equipment company to regularly provide the necessary baseball equipment for the next two and a half years, so that Hua can show his skills without any worries and move towards a more ambitious goal. Martians from Taiwan and kind-hearted people from all walks of life together wished Hua, who had excellent academic performance in the past, that after entering the new high school environment, they could implement the spirit of “hold on to their dreams and never give up”, continue to study and improve their skills, and at the same time take into account their academic performance. A civil and military pillar of society.
