Table tennis: Le Creusot wins the first Gérard Paldof departmental trophy

It was this Sunday at the Jean Macé sports complex.

For the first departmental edition of this club challenge, organized in memory of Gérard Paldof, this former great historical leader of Crucotin table tennis, the residents of the UPCV have made it a point of honor to win!

In table B, the team made up of Elouan Brombin, Emilien Bagnard and Arnaud Hervé brilliantly wins the competition in this very tough table.
The team of Constant Butzig and José Soler finished in 12th place.

In table A for the youngest, the team of Raphaël Paret-Hervé, Maxime Ribeiro and Théophile Guillaud-Descloux finished in a very good 2nd place.

Aniel Brombin in agreement with the Autun club wins the competition.

In the general classification, the UPCV therefore won the Gérard Paldof Trophy, which he will put back into play next season, hopefully with the same result.
Well done to all the players and to coach Paul Verdier for these magnificent results.
A big thank you to the departmental committee and more particularly Théophile Dhôtel, at the initiative of this competition, to the referees, as well as to all the participating clubs, to all the volunteers who came to help us and to all of Gérard’s friends who came to return to him. tribute during the awards ceremony, hoping that he will appreciate the spectacle from all up there!
