Summary of games in the NBA including the one between the Raptors and the Wizards

Scottie Barnes had a good game, Fred VanVleet was the difference maker and the Toronto Raptors posted a big 109-105 win over the Washington Wizards on Friday.

This victory allows the Raptors to approach a victory of the Wizards who occupied the eighth place in the East before the meetings of the evening.

After a comeback in the fourth quarter of the Wizards, the two teams were neck and neck at the end of the game. Fred VanVleet scored his fourth downtown field goal with less than a minute to go to put the Raptors in control for good.

OG Anunoby added the insurance points afterwards for the Torontonians who were carried in the game by Scottie Barnes. The latter amassed a total of 27 points and eight rebounds.

VanVleet finished with 21 points, as did Pascal Siakam. The playmaker also recorded 12 assists. Quebecer Chris Boucher had two of his three shots from downtown to finish with 10 points and seven rebounds.

At the Wizards, Bradley Beal was the main offensive factor for his team with 25 points.

Curry is heard at the siren

Stephen Curry had the opportunity to offer victory to the Golden State Warriors at the sound of the siren and he did not miss his shot. His basket allowed the Warriors to defeat the Houston Rockets 105-103.

The latter have given the Warriors trouble even though they occupy the bottom of the standings in the West, but the cream has risen to the surface. Tied 103-103, Curry fired a field goal as the siren sounded in the fourth quarter.

Curry capped off his night with 22 points and 12 assists. Jordan Poole also stood out with 20 points.

For the Rockets, Christian Wood finished with a brace of 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Antetokounmpo and DeRozan don’t disappoint

In an expected duel between two powerhouses in the East, the defending champions, the Milwaukee Bucks, got the better of the Chicago Bulls 94-90.

Before the start of the evening, the Bulls were ranked first in the conference and the Bucks were fourth. It was also a duel between DeMar DeRozan and Giannis Antetokounmpo and the two did not disappoint.

DeRozan shone for the Bulls with 35 points while his rival had 30 points and 12 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic gave DeRozan some offensive support for Chicago with 19 points and he grabbed 12 rebounds.

Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis supported Antetokounmpo well with 16 and 12 points respectively for the two players.

The Bulls’ loss put the Brooklyn Nets first in the East with a 29-16 record.
