At the beginning of the year, the past holidays, morale is not always good. Good news, this year, many events should be organized in the territory of Loudéac (Côtes-d’Armor). And in particular in the field of sport.
Among the most popular, the Loudéac horse races will be held on April 3, 17, 18 and May 24, 2022. The return of these meetings, held behind closed doors for the past two years, due to the health crisis, is eagerly awaited this year.
Then on May 4, 2022, the Loudéac-Pontivy stage of the Women’s Tour de Bretagne will follow. Already scheduled for 2020 and 2021, its course had been canceled due to the health context at the time. In 2019, the Costa Rican Audrey Cordon-Ragot won.
Two firsts: cycle touring and marathon
On the football side, the international Guerlédan tournament will shine throughout Central Brittany, and in particular at the Saint-Bugan stadium, on June 11 and 12, 2022. During this weekend, the city of Loudéac will also host the Côtes championship -Badminton Armor.
The Cap sports festival will be celebrated in June. On this occasion, multiple events should bring together the participants in Saint-Caradec.
The month of August will be marked by cycling. First, Federal Cycle Tourism Week will be held in Loudéac from July 31 to August 7. No less than 12,000 cyclists are expected there. Cycling always, it is then the arrival of the Estivale Bretonne which will be on Boulevard Victor-Étienne, in Loudéac, on August 8.
This sporting season will also be marked by a great first: on October 2, 2022, Loudéac will host the runners of the first Pontivy-Loudéac marathon, during which four distances can be contested.
And to finish in style, the whistle of the Corrida of hope, race to benefit the fight against cancer, will be given in November.
