Fernando Rivas has disassociated himself from the Spanish Badminton Federation. The Andalusian coach, however, will continue to train Carolina Marín as he has been doing for the last 14 years, since the Huelva-born arrived at CAR Madrid at that age. Together they have formed a winning binomial that has achieved something unthinkable in the world of badminton in Spain: Olympic gold, three times world champion and five times in Europe. In the statement, Rivas thanks FESBA for these years of joint work and the trust they gave him.
