Real: Courtois launches clash against PSG

A fortnight before the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain on February 15, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (29 years old, 6 matches in LdC this season), launched this shock in its own way in the columns of the AS newspaper.

“He’s a tough opponent and it will be a very difficult and competitive meeting. It will be a final before the hour, first estimated the Belgian, despite everything confident. But Real Madrid are at a good level and I think that we can pass. It will be a match in which the details will decide, like a save or a goal. The main thing will be to be concentrated and united and to arrive well, without withdrawals or injuries.”

Faced with the individual talents of PSG, Merengue believes that the response can only be collective. “PSG have great players like Messi, Mbappé, Neymar… but it’s more than that. It’s a complete block. They have talent in all areas, but today’s football is more a team than an individual because if you are afraid, in quotes, of someone, then it turns out that another appears and it gets complicated. It is true that a talented player can score a goal of nowhere, but you have to worry more about stopping his virtues as a team”, warned the Red Devil, who will have a big role to play in his goal.
