FORMAT
The 28 First Class teams will be divided into two zones and after a round in which they will face each other all against all, the best four from each group will qualify for the knockout phase. A special detail: in addition to the thirteen matches of the first phase, there will be an interzonal day that will mostly match the classic crosses. These direct elimination duels will be a single match in the stadium of the best classified, while the semis and the final will be played on a neutral court.
DESCENTS
Another not minor detail is that, after some years without declines, this season the last two of the average will go down to the First National. It will be defined by the results of the 2019/2020 Super League -and the only date that ever took place in the 2020 Super League Cup-, the 2021 League Cup, the 2021 Professional League and the season’s tournaments. 2022, so these matches will count to maintain the category. In turn, whoever wins the competition will win a ticket to the 2022 Champions Trophy against the league winner.
BEGINNING
When will the kickoff be? It was confirmed during this Tuesday, in the run-up to the draw, that the start was postponed a week and will start from Friday the 11th (or even Thursday the 10th). This is due to the number of positive cases that the teams registered -and continue to add- in the respective preseason: among players, members of the coaching staff and assistants there are already more than 200.
