The Regional Executive Council convened today, carefully assessed the pandemic situation in progress, considering the exponential increase in infections in recent days and the quarantine rules currently in force, communicates the postponement of all matches, including recoveries, of all the Men’s and Women’s Senior and Youth Championships of regional competence, scheduled for the period from 13 to 23 January 2022 inclusive.
The Regional Committee will monitor the evolution of the situation on the national and regional territory with the hope of being able to guarantee, in safety, the return to regular competition starting from 24 January 2022.
The Regional Competition Office will communicate the new programming relating to the regional competitions in the next week. The races not played will be recovered at the end of the published calendars, following the original sequence.
The clubs are invited to continue their daily training activities in the gym, in compliance with the hygiene and health regulations currently in force, remembering that, with reference to the Law Decree 229 of 30 December 2021 (from page 21), on the subject of restrictive provisions in contrast to the current moment of great diffusion of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, starting from 10 January last throughout the national territory for access and use of services and activities related to team sports, the Reinforced Green Pass is required, obtained following the vaccination cycle or following recovery. Children under the age of 12 and those excluded from the vaccination campaign on the basis of suitable medical certification issued according to the criteria defined in a circular from the Ministry of Health remain exempt from this provision.
