Last Saturday, January 8, the 2022 season began for the Estella Badminton Club, a day in which six of its players were present in the town of Vitoria (Álava) to play the Absolute Ranqueable Territorial Tournament.
The Estella Badminton Club players traveled to the capital of Alava: Ángel Aramendía, Paula Jiménez, Raúl Martínez de Olcoz, Rubén Boza, Francisco Javier Baquedano and Ángel Urra.
The most outstanding results were those achieved by: Paula Jiménez and Aurora Otín, from the Huesca Badminton Club, remaining runners-up in the Women’s Doubles, and Francisco Javier Baquedano and Ángel Urra, who were about to qualify to play the men’s Doubles final, after falling in a very even game.
The next appointment of the Estella Badminton Club will be on January 22 and 23, dates on which the Senior Master will attend the town of Vitoria (Álava).
