Pablo Abián loses against the Indian Prannoy HS in the first round

Pablo Abián from Bilbao lost this Wednesday to the Indian, Prannoy HS, in the first round of the Indian Open of badminton that takes place in New Delhi, by 14-21 and 7-21 in 33 minutes. Abián was eliminated from the first international tournament of the year, in the Super 500 World Tour category. The one from Calatayud failed to win any game points, while his opponent took three, one during the first set and the other two in the second.

The first set of the match was more even, although it was taken by Prannoy. Abián began dominating the game and linked four points in a row, but the Indian international was not long in entering the match, scoring 21 points compared to 14 for the Spanish.

During the second round, Abián was canceled against a Prannoy who left no option for the Spanish victory. The Indian midfielder got seven points in a row and tripled the points scored by the Zaragoza native in the second and last game of the match.
