Now yes! Enjoy Akira Kurosawa’s film series at the Luis Buñuel Cinematheque

After being postponed due to the increase in coronavirus infections, the Puebla Ministry of Culture gave the green light to start the Akira Kurosawa film series.

This cycle of the Japanese director will take place from January 18 to 22, at the Luis Buñuel Cinematheque, and 7 feature films will be screened for free.

Akira Kurosawa is one of the world’s most influential filmmakers. Its hallmark is the use of telephoto lenses.

He also usually uses original costumes for his films, the light and the framing. The films that will be screened are: “The legend of judo”, Yojimboel mercenary”, “Live”, “Scandal”, “The seven samurai”, “Red beard” and “Kagemusha: the shadow of the warrior”.
