Decision 1 (Continuous Techniques):

  • Techniques that have been carried out without interruption should be assessed.
  • If there is an interruption, the technique is not evaluated.

Decision 2 (Waza-ari hit area):

  • The criteria for waza-ari include landing (hit area) on the full side of the body at 90% or more angle to the back, or on one shoulder and upper back. A score is given if the entire body lands on its side, even with the elbow out. Hip and shoulder position must be taken into account.

Decision 3 (Waza-ari hit area):

  • The criteria for waza-ari include landing (hit area) on the full side of the body at 90% or more angle to the back, or on one shoulder and upper back. A score is given if the entire body lands on its side, even with the elbow out.

Decision 4 (rest on elbows or hands):

  • Landing backwards on two elbows or hands at the same time is waza-ari for tori and shido for uke.

Decision 5 (counter-rotation):

  • No evaluation of counter techniques (counter-spin), in which the initial attack is rolled over the back, in the direction of the countering or defending judoka.

Decision 6 (Reverse Seoi Nage):

  • No rating but Shido for reversed Seoi-Nage.

Decision 7 (grip below the belt in the end of the throwing phase):

  • Reaching below the belt is permitted in the end of the throwing phase if the opponent is already in Ne-waza. If the throwing technique is interrupted, grabbing below the belt is a ne-waza action.

Decision 8 (lapel and collar grip):

  • Simultaneous lapel and collar grip is allowed, if not negative.

Decision 9 (abnormal handles):

  • Belt grip, one-sided gripping, cross-grip, pistol grip and bag grip are not normal kumi-kata. After grabbing one of these handles, a certain amount of time is allowed to prepare for an attack.

Decision 10 (handle loosening):

  • It is permitted to loosen the handle with one hand or both hands if the handle is to be replaced immediately.
  • Loosening the handle without grasping it again immediately is prohibited.

Decision 11 (arranging judogi or hair):

Decision 12 (diving):

  • Techniques involving propping up the head are dangerous and punishable by hansoku-make.

Article 20:

In order to protect the health of the athletes, especially those who have little experience with self-treatment, athletes of all ages are allowed to use professional help in correcting finger / toe dislocations. This also included taping.

Reason:

Finger or toe dislocations are normal, if not very common, injuries that require immediate contraction to keep the injured joint working. The time factor is important to prevent medium or long-term consequences. It is therefore important to correct the affected joint as soon as possible.

The process is very simple from a medical point of view, but requires a lot of experience. There are athletes who do not have this experience or who are mentally blocked by viewing the joint in an unnatural position. Since the injury itself is a minor injury, the athletes can continue with their career (competition) after the restriction.

It is recommended that this basic medical assistance be given to all ages without disqualification.
