NBA News: Yes Morant with Block of the Year against Los Angeles Lakers

The hottest team in the NBA are the Memphis Grizzlies. Ja Morant’s team won their ninth game in a row at the Los Angeles Lakers. Morant unpacked a pad that amazed even LeBron James.

It was the first quarter when Ja Morant started what was possibly the best block of the season. After the Grizzlies-Guard lost the ball, Lakers wing Avery Bradley apparently steered comfortably to the basket by overpowering Desmond Bane. However, the 31-year-old hadn’t taken the math with Morant, who out of nowhere nailed the lay-up attempt to the board with both hands and hit his head on the edge of the backboard.

“He has rockets in his calf muscles”, Lakers superstar LeBron James had to acknowledge, who had done similar actions in his career, but is also significantly taller than Morant (1.91 meters).

“That was probably the best block I’ve ever seen in my life,” marveled Jaren Jackson Jr., who himself put on at least 5 rejections for the second time in a row. “He knew what he was going to do, you could tell from the way he started up.”

Morant himself didn’t want to say much about his block and above all emphasized that he had initiated the fast break by losing the ball himself. Nevertheless, he was aware of the scope of his action. “I can probably be seen everywhere on the Internet right now,” the 22-year-old guessed with a smile.
