Already this weekend, on January 16, the “Millers Motorsport Winter Cup 2022” was to take place on the Liv side. The competition was planned to be held in 1 + 1 format with two stages (2.7 and 2.9 km long), where each of the stages would have to be performed three times.

However, it is reported that due to unsuitable weather conditions, the Millers Motorsport Winter Cup scheduled for January 16 will be postponed to February 5, which is a week before the first stage of the Latvian Rally Championship, the “Rally” rally. The weather forecast for this weekend provides a strong thaw, so it would not be possible to hold the planned competition.

Registration for the February 5 competition will start on January 14.

We would like to remind you that the competition is planned to be held in eight classes – 1600, 2000, 2WD, 4WD, 4WD +, Juniors, 2WD SPORT and 4WD SPORT.

Recently, the organizer of the competition Maris Millers admitted to the portal Go4speed that if about 30 sports cars apply for the competition, then the first part of the day would be dedicated to street classes, but from the afternoon the track would be cleared of rotors so that “athletes” can enjoy the stages 100%.
