Medellín Liga BetPlay presents Luciano Pons as a new player for 2022 | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

This Tuesday, January 11, Deportivo Independiente Medellín confirmed the arrival of Luciano Daniel Pons, a 31-year-old Argentine striker, who has a path to Argentine promotion and his last club was Banfield.

“Luciano Daniel Pons, a 31-year-old forward, is a new player for Deportivo Independiente Medellín. The one born in Rosario, Argentina reaches the Poderoso after passing through Banfield and is linked to Rojo for a year, “said Medellín through a statement posted on their social networks.

Regarding Pons’ trajectory, he began in Argentino de Rosario in Argentina in 2009, where he stayed until 2012 when he went to Aragua in Venezuela and then had a second stage between 2013 and 2014, from there he went to San Miguel in Argentina, where he stayed until 2016, then he went to Atlanta in Argentina where he stayed until 2017. Flandria de Argentina was his new destination where he was in the 2017-18 season, then he was in San Martín de Tucumán for two seasons, between 2018 and 2020 where he ended up at the Banfield from Argentina. In total, he has accumulated 112 goals in 248 games.

With the arrival of Pons, Medellín has Andrés Ricaurte, José Hernández Chávez, Ever Valencia, Guillermo Tegüé, Felipe Pardo, Stiven Rodríguez and Bryan Castrillón and Uruguayan Javier Méndez remain to be made official.
