Even if it still takes more than six months until the new Bayern jersey is officially presented, the first information, leaks and design concepts are already circulating on the internet. According to recent reports, Bayern will resort to a white and gold design for the away kit for the 2022/23 season.
Bayern are currently playing their away games in a black jersey with gold applications. As the well-known portal “Footy Headlines” reports, the Munich team will once again use a white away jersey in the new season, but the gold color accents will not change.
Will Bayern play in real design soon?
At first glance, the leaks are reminiscent of Real Madrid’s home kit from the 2019/20 season. Los Blancos have often used a white and gold design in the past. For the German record champions, on the other hand, it would be a novelty. According to “Footy Headlines” it is a “dark football gold” as outfitter Adidas officially calls the color. Previously, gold was already an accent color for the red home kit and the current black away kit, but the ‘white/gold’ combination has never been seen before.
The whole thing is rounded off by a “night gray” (anthracite blue), which can be seen discreetly on the collar and sleeves. The new away kit is set to be available from July.
