Jamieson maintains the lead in Abu Dhabi and Rafa Cabrera is top 10 by 3 strokes

the scotch Scott Jamieson, with a card this Friday of 74 strokes (two over par), for a total of 137 (-7), remains at the head of the HSBC Championship de Abu Dhabi, of DP World Tour (formerly European Circuit), with one advantage over a trio of players including Scotsman James Morrison, who could only complete 14 holes due to the lack of light that prevented him from completing a second day that was marked by strong winds and high results.

With -6 at home club, second tied, there are two of the favorites to win in this first Rolex Series, the Norwegian Viktor Hovland and English Ian Poulter.

Jamieson, who on Thursday had dazzled with an excellent 63 (nine under par -a Yas Links course record-) was not fine in his second complicated round, where he signed a double bogey and two bogeys, on a card made up with two birdies. However, the rest of his immediate pursuers, such as Hovland, did not take advantage of this, who also left after 74 strokes.

And almost neither Poulter, who presented a second card with 72 (pair), which leaves one in the head. Morrison, who started the day three strokes behind Jamieson, and is now one, but still with four holes to play, was one of those affected by the suspension of the day due to lack of light. The cut will be set first thing this Saturday.

The Canary Rafael Cabrera rose from seventeenth to ninth place. A second round with 71 strokes (-1), with four birdies and three bogeys, leaves him three strokes behind the leader.

Of the rest of Spaniards, Nacho Elvira he delivered a 74 that, with a total of 143, puts him six from the top; the same as Pablo Larrazabal, another of those who did not finish the day and left it after the 15th hole.

Santi Tarrio, Jorge Campillo and Adri Arnaus they will be able to play the weekend, as well as the Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy, who with 75 shots for 147 (+3) was just on the edge of the cut.
